“O! Terrifying Ravana, is it true?
That Good triumphs evil, by burning you?
Every year this day, you come to my street,
And I believe that tonight the evil will forever flee.
But it seems endless, what was to be a bout,
And now I am tired and all prayed out.
O! Ravana, today you have to answer me,
Else I won’t light fire and you’ll be trapped in this effigy.”

“O! Little boy, why do you ask me?
Have a few rough years made you gloomy?
Every year this day, you burn me on this street,
But I rise again next year. I never accept defeat.
O Terrified boy, let me tell you what’s true,
I am the story, and the moral is upto you.”
